Waltz's Ark South African Boer Does
Here is a glimpse at some of our tremendous bountiful Boer does. There are way too many to show them all, so we are choosing a small handful of them as a representation of the fine ladies that are part of the breeding herd here at Waltz's Ark.
Gold Country Maisie (10226677)- daughter of Criterion Ennobled
2007 Overall Grand Champion IBGA Senior Fullblood Doe at Nevada State Fair amongst other wins. Dam of many of our top producing does, as well as the mother of our two Hakuna sons. We wish we had several dozen Maisies here! Shown here with her January 2012 daughter sired by Intimidation *Ennobled.
CCBG Alaska (10299490) - pedigree includes Rambo *Ennobled, L435 *Ennobled, KF42 *Ennobled, Eggsfile *Ennobled, DSM 9B46 *Ennobled (Alaska's dam), Kaptein *Ennobled, and DSM Kala *Ennobled. Her first kids for the Ark were a set of twin does sired by import buck Amani Wilbur, both of those does, Kenai and Denali, are an integral part of our breeding program.
White Cloud (10321403) is an embryo import doe. Her sire is the incredible Geronimo (now owned by 7A+ Boers in Texas). His sire, Tarmac, was the 2003 Queensland (Australia) State Reserve Champion Senior Buck, and won First Place in the 18-24 months class at the 2004 Australian Nationals. We have several daughters of Cloud's out of War Cloud (son of War Lord), and Criterion *Ennobled. This is a large gal, substantial, excellent mothering skills, and has won a few doe classes herself.
Jarrah (10457118) was imported as an embryo. Her sire is Amani Trooper, the full brother to Amani Albert who was imported to America.
These boys have the distinction of having as their grandmother FV2046 - the South African dam to CBC Freightrain *Ennobled.
Jarrah was born in March 2008, is a large, long, thick doe, and is the sort of lady that you just can't take your eyes off of. She is the dam of our boy
Figjam as well as several of our breeding does. She is the only one of her kind in America.
Talia (10457134) was sired by import buck Amani Wilbur. Her dam, Terraweena Toowoomba, came to the US as an embryo.
She's built for motherhood, and is a "neutral" doe - the type that stays out of trouble, gets along with all the does, and just wants to be friends with everyone.
She is the dam of our wonderful young buck Doongara.
Reba is a big South African solid red doe. She is the dam of our young black buck Wahkan. Reba is a fierce momma, just
the kind of doe everybody wants raising kids in their herd.
Garnet was sired by import buck Terraweena Rex. She's out of a solid red doe, CCBG Ruby, and has been one of the darlings of the ranch.
