VEGETABLES AND GREENS

Salad Greens
This is a mixture of several varieties of lettuces, greens, and spinach. We really enjoy these as baby greens, making salads as soon as the plants have 3 to 4 leaves about 2 to 3 inches tall. Most of the varieties mixed within are slow to bolt. Plant successive groups or rows for a continued supply into fall. This mix is as pretty to look at as it is to eat! A must have for all salad lovers! Includes items such as Thompson Black, Red Sails, Arugula, Razzle Dazzle (spinach), Salad Bowl, Red and Green Oakleaf, Mizuna, Dwarf Curled Scotch Kale, Red Sails, Purple Mustard, Butterhead, Freckles. Excellent germination rate on this mix.

Black Spanish Radish
This is an heirloom variety mostly used for cooking in soups and stews. Rather hot flavor when eaten raw. Unusual and easy to grow, prefers cool weather so plant this in very early spring or late summer. It will bolt before setting the bulb if planted when the weather is going to be too warm.

Please Note: Due to a late freeze and the drought, along with an attack of curly top virus, most of our heirloom table tomato crop was ruined. We do intend to have these available for the 2005 season! If you have a particular variety you are looking for, let us know so we can get it into production in 2004.
