A Few of Our Former Show Winners

Iris in 2002

Iris is a full blooded Nubian. She was the First Place Junior Non-Milking Doe at the 2001 Delta County Fair at the age of 7 months old, and took second place in the Showmanship class. Iris gave us a set of twins (May 23, 2002) from Root just in time for her to compete in the milking categories at the 2002 fair, where she took Third in the Showmanship division, and took First Place in the 2 and Under Milking Nubian Division, as well as Grand Champion in the Nubian Division!!! Iris went on in 2003 to take Third in the Does 2 and under 3 Milking Division, despite having been ill and losing her milk! Her daughter Chrysanthemum won First Place in the "Yearling Non-Milking" division at the 2003 Delta County Fair, and daughter Coleus won First Place in the 2003 "Junior Kid" division! Iris has produced many sets of triplets and quads for us.

Tarragon, the 2002 Delta County Fair First Place Winner in the Junior Yearling division, and Reserve Grand Champion in the Overall Nubian division! She's also the 2003 Delta County Fair First Place winner in the Does Under 2 Milking division, and Reserve Grand Champion in Showmanship! She is the mother of many of our percentage does, and passed on after a very difficult birth last year.

This is Coleus, daughter of Iris (above) and Beavis. Coleus won First Place in the "Junior Kid" division of the 2003 Delta County Fair. She is now the mother of many fine does.

This is Poppy, daughter of Zinnia and Root. Poppy won First Place in the "Intermediate Kid" division of the 2003 Delta County Fair. She is now the mother of many.

This is Dianthus, daughter of Daffodil and Beavis. Dianthus won First Place in the "Senior Kid" division of the 2003 Delta County Fair. She is also now the mother of two of our milking does, and has moved on to produce milk and babies for another family.
